If you're ever out in Frederick, MD, check out Ayse Meze. This was their 'sheesh tarok'-- essentially a grilled chicken thigh skewer. I really liked how the plates were brought to the table as soon as they were ready... This was nice and fresh.

If you're ever out in Frederick, MD, you must check out Ayse Meze. I had their 'sheesh tarok'-- which is essentially a grilled chicken thigh skewer.

I also demolished their 'xtemia'. SO yummy. It was served atop a sweet potato puree and mint-mustard butter. I tried some of their 'biftek' as well...

I really liked how the plates were brought to the table as soon as they were ready. I loved the family-style, tapas feel. Everything was nice and fresh and the service was excellent. I had a great experience overall and can't wait to go back!
