IF YOU HAVEN'T TRIED THEIR NEW LOCATION IN DOWNTOWN SILVER SPRING, YOU MUST!
I went to Yelp's 2016 MD Burbs Holiday Party at the Not Your Average Joe's in Silver Spring. There were holiday themed cocktails, crafts and a game! I really enjoyed the event and ended up ordering something off of the menu. I tried their refreshing Blackberry Pomegranate Margarita, and the Ahi Tuna Wontons. This was my second time trying the Wontons- I also had them at another NYAJoes location. They're so good! I think the pickled ginger really pulls everything together. I also had a bite of the chicken dumplings- but I wasn't that impressed. The flavors were okay, but the texture seemed off. I'd definitely recommend stopping by for a visit.
