So, I was a bit early to the show I was going to: The Second City's "Black Side of the Moon," when I stumbled upon Rasika. It was steps away from the Woolly Mammoth theater, which made it super convenient. The hostess checked my coat, and I ended up being seated at the bar because they were packed in there.
The bartender was very attentive and made spot-on suggestions. A few minutes after I was seated the chef sent a complimentary Palak Chaat dish for me to try! It's their signature, crispy baby spinach. It was crunchy, and sweet at the same time. Delicious, and a must try!
I ordered the Crab Pepper Masala- which was very light and flavorful. I also had the Seekh Kebab-- which was minced lamb with a nice mint chutney. It was tasty, but it made be burp a lot... Is that TMI? Not sure.
Overall, I really enjoyed my experience. The atmosphere was welcoming. And I walked away with a new favorite drink... the Imli Margarita. So. bomb.
