Stop what you're doing and make plans to get these Shrimp and Grits. I want to admit that Shaw's Tavern offers the BEST shrimp and grits that I've had in forever. No exaggeration. They pan sear their shrimp with diced andouille sausage in a fresh low country pan sauce over smoked gouda grits. It's also gluten free-- in case you were wondering!

It was very easy to book a reservation here, and I am glad we did. The place was PACKED. We dined here for Sunday brunch and our entire party loved their meals! I tried to bite off of as much as I could. The service was good- our waiter was super friendly and patient.

Some of the other items we tried: Eggvocado. This was an Haas Avocado with two sunny farm eggs, chips and Pico de Gallo. Cornbread Chicken and Waffle. This was their housemade cornbread waffle, double fried range chicken and maple bourbon bacon syrup. So rich and flavorful. Their Lox entree was great. They were out of bagels on this particular day, but substituted with fresh baguettes. You have to come here- at least once! I am so glad I did.
