Mythology Restaurant

I ended up meeting a few friends here this past weekend and it was a nice experience!

Aesthetics. For a limited time, the restaurant has been transformed into a Will Ferrell character themed pop-up. The first thing that caught my eye in this restaurant was the color of the walls, and the "clouds" and lights hanging throughout. It made me feel like I was in someone's home, but on a rooftop at the same time.

We were seated right at the front, near the windows, which was cool. Towards the back, there was a little cutout in the hallway where you could see into the kitchen. Random, but if you have a chance, check out the bathroom tile- it's pretty captivating.

Food. For our starter, the three of us shared the Smothered Frites - "Wess Mantooth". I liked these the best!! So tasty. The fries were topped with crab, bisque, and chunky old bay. A must have, for sure. Once I saw the Shrimp and Grits - "A Nice Seafood Dinner" on the menu I knew I had to try them- for the culture. These were good and had a different twist to them, though I wish there were a bit more Cajun flavors. The crayfish and the caramelized onions were a surprise for sure. Still, the presentation was bomb and the overall flavors were good. I would suggest you get this as a late lunch or dinner. We got to meet the Executive Chef, Emilio. He was super friendly and it was nice to see the face behind the food!
