As far as the aesthetic is concerned, this is a super cute spot. Everything looks good, the colors are vibrant, etc.
BUT..... Sigh. I unfortunately didn't love my experience here. I had very high expectations, but was pretty underwhelmed.
I went midweek, right after the lunch hour, closer to 2pm. My tacos were cold, seriously lacking in flavor, and didn't sit right. It felt like fillings had been sitting out for a few hours. For example, I didn't pick up any jerk seasoning in the jerk taco, at all. Disappointing. The latte wasn't that warm or great. Still, EVERYTHING LOOKED BOMB.
The customer service was lacking... the energy didn't match the hype and cheerfulness of the branding and marketing online that enticed me to this spot. I stood at the counter for a bit before I was acknowledged... When I was heading out, I asked for a to go cup for my latte. The woman behind the counter poured it in a cup, handed it to me (with no top) and then walked away. I had to inquire about where the tops were and she pointed to a corner.
All in all, if you're going to give them a try, I'd suggest going early in the day on a Tuesday- to take advantage of the, Buy Two Get one Free, deal. Not sure when I'll return just yet. But I’m certain my experience was the exception and not the rule.
